| What We Believe - We are an undenominational body of believers seeking to follow the pattern of the Lord's church which can be found recorded in the pages of the New Testament.
- We believe that the Bible is our only authority and that it was written by God through the use of inspired men (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21).
- We believe that Christ was the only begotten Son of God (John 3:16).
- We believe that Christ was born of a virgin and that He came to this earth in the flesh (John 1:14).
- We believe Christ was crucified for our sins (1 Corinthians 15:3), was resurrected on the third day (Acts 10:40) and now sits at the right hand of the Father in heaven (Acts 2:33-35).
- We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in keeping with Bible instructions, which include faith, repentance, confession of faith, and baptism.
- We believe the church is the body of Christ. It has no earthy headquarters because Christ is the head (Colossians 1:18)
- We believe that worship should be according to New Testament teaching without adding to or taking away from God's inspired word.
What To Expect When Visiting- You can expect to be greeted with courtesy and respect.
- Those who visit with us are our honored guests and should feel welcome. We want your visit with us to be pleasant as well as profitable.
- You will see that our congregation is made up of various people with diverse backgrounds and occupations.
- We love our young ones and respect our older ones.
- We are bound together by the Gospel, knowing that we are all here to help one another live the life that God would have us to live.
- On Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings we have Bible classes for all ages.
- Everyone who attends class is welcome to participate (but not required) by asking questions or adding comments to the class.
What To Expect During Worship- Our services are conducted by the men of the congregation.
- A song leader will lead the congregation in the singing of songs and hymns. We sing a capella (without musical insturments). This follows the example of those who met in the first century. Singing is the only type of music authorized in the New Testament (Ephesians 5:19).
- Various men of the congregation will lead the congregation in public prayer at the proper times (Acts 2:42).
- The Lord's Supper is prepared and observed each first day of the week (Acts 20:7). This is done in order for us to commune with our Lord and to remember His death, burial, and ressurection until He returns (1 Corinthians 11:23-26).
- Upon the first day of the week (Sunday) we are commanded to lay by and store (1 Corinthians 16:2). This contribution is made by members of the church to aid in the work of the church. This work could not be possible without financial support. If you are visiting with us do not feel that you are obligated to give. This obligation is for the members of the Lord's church.
- Proclaiming God's word is a very important part of our worship. When one preaches, reads or studies the Bible he is listening to God speak. Preaching and teaching from God's word helps everyone who hears it learn what God would have them do.
- At the end of every service an invitation will be offered. The invitation is an opportunity for anyone present to respond by becoming a Christian, being restored to faithful service or to request prayers of the church.
